Why Choose BCC-CAA for your child or adolescent?
Proven Track Record
Our practice has helped hundreds of children and teens overcome the obstacles that can make school and social settings stressful. We measure success not just in symptom reduction, but stronger relationships, greater confidence and competence, and less anxiety and sadness.
Targeted Treatment
Children have a difficult time explaining what they are experiencing. That's why we start with a short psychological and educational assessment before therapy begins. Our "screening" process leads to more accurate diagnoses and more effective, targeted treatment strategies.
Family-Focused Care
We consider parents and caregivers part of our team. Since we only see young clients at the office, we meet regularly with parents. These collaborative meetings provide opportunities for mutual feedback and support parental skill-building.
To accommodate your family's busy life, we have flexible hours, including evening and weekend appointments.
Specialized Options for Social Challenges
Our staff is certified to provide PEERS®-informed adolescent social skills therapy. PEERS is an evidence-based program designed for teens who struggle with peer relationships, flexibility, and social confidence. With weekly teen group sessions and parent coaching, our PEERS groups promote meaningful and lasting skill development.
PEERS Social Skills Program starts in January
Beginning January 21, 2026 we will offer a PEERS®-informed adolescent social skills group. This training program is designed for teens who experience challenges with interpersonal communication, peer relationships, flexibility, and social confidence.
Enrollment is now open!
We invite families and community partners to contact us to secure a January placement and learn more about how this PEERS®-informed program can support family members or clients.
